When you take on a CASA case, you take on a child’s future. Becoming a volunteer advocate is a significant—yet rewarding—undertaking. The minimum commitment required of each volunteer is one year, with an average time allotment of five hours per week for case-work. Read more

CASA advocates do not stem from one demographic, but are civic minded individuals who have come together for the unique purpose of working on behalf of New York’s foster children. Currently, CASA has over 100 active volunteer advocates each year. Read more

CASA-NYC Board members are involved hands-on in making a positive impacton children in care. Many Executive Board members first experience CASA-NYC as a volunteer advocate, getting to know our work first-hand. Read more

It costs $720 a year for CASA to help move a child out of foster care and into a safe, loving home. You can help CASA NYC by making a contribution so that we can expand the number of cases we handle. We can’t train and supervise more volunteers without raising more funds through contributions. Read more
