CASA-NYC is an advocacy organization for children and youth.

CASA provides one-on-one advocacy to help New York City’s foster care children and youth grow up in safe, permanent and loving homes where they can thrive. Our mission is to protect the needs and well-being of children while in foster care and make certain they are placed in safe permanent homes as quickly as possible.

CASA-NYC plays a crucial role in assisting New York’s overburdened Family Court system meet the needs of the city’s most vulnerable population. For many abused children, a dedicated CASA-NYC advocate may be the one constant presence in their lives—perhaps even the only adult who cares for them.
