CASA-NYC is devoted to the children we serve.Many of the children who enter New York City’s foster care system do so as a result of emotional or physical abuse stemming from a wide range of circumstances, such as substance abuse, poverty, mental illness, or domestic violence. Read more

HOW WE HELP
Maria and Magdalena, 10 and 11years old, respectively, were removed from their mother in 2007 due to physical and educational neglect. CASA was initially assigned to the children several months after they entered foster care to help ensure that they were receiving appropriate special education services. Read more
